Applications

Textile Industry: Used as a dyeing auxiliary, it helps dyes adsorb evenly onto fibers, especially natural fibers like cotton and linen, acting as a penetrant and leveling agent; it can also be used to prepare textile oils, lubricating fibers and reducing friction, which helps improve the efficiency and quality of textile processing.

Leather Industry: Used in the fatliquoring process of leather, it makes the leather fuller, softer, and more elastic, while improving water resistance and wear resistance; it also assists tanning agents in penetrating deeper into the leather.

Agriculture: Used as an emulsifier, wetting agent, and spreading agent in pesticides, it helps improve the stability of pesticide emulsifiable concentrates, enabling the liquid to adhere and spread better on plant surfaces, thereby enhancing the efficacy and effectiveness of the pesticides.

Metalworking: Added to cutting fluids, it forms a lubricating film on the metal surface, reducing friction between the cutting fluid and the tool or workpiece, decreasing cutting force and temperature, extending tool life, and improving surface finish; it also enhances the rust resistance of cutting fluids, preventing rust during processing.

Coatings and Inks Industry: Acting as an emulsifier and dispersant, it enables solid particles like pigments to disperse better in liquid media, improving the stability, uniformity, and fluidity of coatings and inks, which helps enhance their application properties and printing quality.

Other Applications: In the paper industry, it enhances the uniform distribution of sizing agents; in the soap and detergent industry, it improves water solubility and enhances cleaning power, making it particularly suitable for low-foam detergents; it can also be used in cosmetics, cleaning products, and other industries for its emulsifying and wetting properties.
